About Me    While growing up, I always had a ball & bat with me. I was definitely a tomboy! After playing outside all day, I would come in to a cozy home filled with all kinds of treasures my mom had crafted or my dad had made or refinished. My mom was a SAHM, and was always doing some crafty thing, from cake decorating to miniature dollhouses, to decorating real eggs for Easter. (I had to blow the yolks out...through pinholes! A lot of hot air I guess!)   It was inherent, that I would start crafting some day. Once I started, I was hooked! Over the years, I have tried many mediums, but my love of "old stuff" has permanently landed me in the primitive world of crafts. My favorite things are painting and woodworking. I have also developed a real joy for sewing and stitching. How relaxing!   If I'm not at a sporting event for my son, or daughter, you can usually find me sawing, sanding, painting or puttering with some crafty thing. I love trying new things, and one idea seems to spark another! It is so exciting to come up with a new idea! It is even more exciting to be able to pass my things on to you. It is truly an awesome feeling to create something that brings pleasure to other people.   It was a dream of my parents to someday have a gift shop. Unfortunately, they are both gone now, and that dream was never fulfilled.
